Yeonhwa of Poison (독고연화, Dokgoyeonhwa), also known as Golden Poison or Yeonhwa the Poison or Cleaner of the East, is a special servant of spiritual type of Han Jihan and a member of The Players.
Appearance[]
Yeonhwa is a type of liquid but forms the shape of a man dressed as a woman to talk to others.
Personality[]
Yeonhwa is a calm and collected person who wants to protect the world even if that means killing people.
He was in the Geumodo Guild over a thousand years ago but left it because Geumodo wasn't interested in maintaining the world. They don't care whether the world gets destroyed. He talks about them with scorn and indignation.
History[]
The tale goes on like this: in ancient China, in times of severe shortages of food, one mother unable to kill her own child, exchanged her child with someone else's, and ate him up. The kid, being the victim, was born again a demon. He's the mushroom that grew from the corpse of a little child who was eaten and became demonized to possess a personality. Inside is the dead child's spirit, giving it the memory of the times when the child was little, which became the main personality, making it a demon with a tendency of humans, unlike other common demons.[1]
A Minion is a small demon. They are created from the collection of human overmind. In this state, it's only able to cause a small effect, like incantation or spells. Things that normally have some degree of effect on something's feelings or the performance of the body. When they're brought together, they form a body, and they get to roam the world as an entity. Very rarely, one person manages to create the amount of overmind that's equal to that of hundreds or thousands of people. In that case, that person becomes the demon himself, without artificial factors like mystic arts or spells. That exception to the rule is Yeonhwa of Poison.[2]
He was an assassin (yoseon) for Geumodo over a thousand years ago.
Plot[]
Mountain Hermit's Gate Arc[]
He was first encountered when Han Jihan, Kwon Shiyeon and Lolikiano Mistrim were attacking the lower level of Mountain Hermit's Gate. After the battle, he was subdued by Han Jihan using a contract of forced subordination and he has been very loyal to his master ever since.
Vs Geumodo Arc[]
He merged with Bossmon and later on with the Tower of Sorcery and succeded. He is now able to accompany his master everywhere he goes because Jihan made a miniature version of Bossmon and merged with it. As a result, Bossmon (which contains Yeonhwa) has been fused with Jihan.
Relationships[]
Han Jihan[]
He's Jihan's special servant of spiritual type. Jihan forced a contract of soul subordination on him, which Yeonhwa happily agreed to. The contract made him a permanent servant of spiritual type which will not be undone. He has taken a liking on his master after getting defeated by him. He has also become very happy after being permanently fused with the body of his master (using Bossmon as a medium).
Abilities[]
He specializes in dealing with evil minds among many types of mental powers.
Chinese Alchemy Poison Brazier: A special place and facility by Yeonhwa, the guild master of Chinese Alchemy Poison Gate. It creates the poison sea of ultimate dissolution, which melts everything, including spirit, mind, spells, and mana, but not special attributes like space, time and void. One drop of poison is equivalent to 100 damage points, melting the targets and combining them into one. Additional advantages:
- Spells prohibition. Allows Yeonhwa to use the Bell of Rupture in order to protect himself from attacks.
- Makes all the power coming from fighting each other to be absorbed in the brazier, just like a poison jar. The same as the purple-golden red bottle.
- Poison Sea. A spell which creates a sea so toxic which can evaporate many things.
- Deep Sea. It is created by the Poison Sea. Its pressure is strong enough to crumple steel like a piece of paper.
- Black rain. It is a rain of poison.
Doppelganger Spell (permanent): Allows the user to multiply his entities.
Use of multiple spells (permanent): Allows the user to use multiple spells at the same time.
Transcendental Regenerative Power (permanent).
Dissolution Absorption (permanent) : Allows the user to absorb and destroy anything that isn't Space, Time, or Void. And that includes Spirit, Mind, and Mana as well.
Body Liquefaction (permanent): The person's body is liquid.
Spore Reproduction: Allows the user to make mushrooms that stick on to the body of the opponent, explode and cause damage.
Urgent Ordinance. Heaven and Earth, Unite Into One. Everything Shall Melt And Become One: It's a type of erosion using the power of the world, an acquired blessing from Gaia, which melts everything (besides space, time, and void). It was shown that the erosion can affect the Gamer's Mind, Jihan's ultimate skill that keeps him calm under all circumstances, and the Gamer's Body. As a consequence, his body started scalding (receiving wounds, something that is usually cancelled due to the gamer's body) and his mind started absorbing emotions (feelings emotions, something that is usually cancelled due to the gamer's mind).
